MUN ( Model United Nations)
19th June 2021
“Good education is not a privilege but a right that every human deserves. By attending MUN, you are building knowledge, skills and relationships needed to build a better global future.”
Every year more than 400,000 students from schools and universities participate worldwide in Model UN conferences.
These events are simulations of UN general assembly discussions.
SCOTLE HIGH SCHOOL has conducted its virtual MUN (Model United Nations) workshop for grades VI-IX on 19th June, 2021 as these events broaden the horizon of the students and empower them to become effective change agents and leaders of the future.
Our resource person, Ms. Toshit Godara (Assistant Research Officer, Governance and Peace Directorate, Commonwealth Secretariat), a well-known speaker with wide range of experience in this field shared her valuable thoughts with the students on how rewarding MUN can be for their promising careers and personal growth.
The workshop in a nutshell was comprehensive, informative and motivational in nature and students had an exhilarating and enriching experience.
