The initial three years of kindergarten offer children a chance to familiarize themselves with their environment. These years provide them with the opportunity to acquire and refine vital skills, including gross and fine motor abilities, along with social-emotional learning, which will prove valuable throughout their lives.
Playground for Mind
Our learning space is a playground for the mind, where kids explore both indoors and outdoors, fueling their natural curiosity. We use ‘Jodo Gyan’ teaching to make math fun and practical, kicking rote learning to the curb.
We create an environment that feeds every child’s curiosity, pushing them to question and marvel at the world. From the get-go, we focus on honing problem-solving skills, encouraging kids to take chances and look at problems from different angles.
The well-trained educators introduce appropriate topics aligned to the guidelines of National Education Policy 2020 and NCF- National Curriculum Framework of India that allows the kindergarteners to analyze, organize, develop strategies, estimate, and calculate effectively.
The creative and analytical approaches stressed in the math program produce ways of thinking that have value for all types of learning.
At the core of our Kindergarten philosophy is the infusion of ‘amazement,’ transforming learning into an exhilarating adventure. Children at Scotle are not merely taught; they are captivated through dynamic methods like play, stories, videos, and discussions. Each week unfolds as a new adventure, featuring themed days like Scientific Wednesday, heightening anticipation. To actively involve parents in their child’s educational journey, we offer weekly planners outlining upcoming activities and lessons, ensuring proactive communication and fostering a collaborative learning environment between school and home.
