(9th July 2022)
“𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒌 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆, 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒂𝒄𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒓𝒆.” —𝑬𝒍𝒃𝒆𝒓𝒕 𝑯𝒖𝒃𝒃𝒂𝒓𝒅.
This is what the essence was in the career guidance program organized by the 𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐓𝐋𝐄 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐋 for the 9th and 10th grade students. The counselling session was to empower students to choose the right subjects for them, making sure they have brighter career prospects.
The orientation covered career prospects, technological developments, shifting work trends, social media profiling, and worldwide technological advancements, particularly those related to artificial intelligence, augmented reality and virtual reality (AR/VR), machine learning, and robotics and how it can impact one’s career.
Career counselling is crucial for students and the education system to develop their professions since counsellors employ a variety of logical techniques that can aid in this process.
Dr Chetna Sabharwal, Director at SkillsReform, Association of Indian Principals Founder, Bass Ek Raah, and Mentor Of Change @NitiAayog, facilitated a career guidance session at the Scotle High School, narrating how a variety of cutting-edge techniques help us become a better person while also developing a wonderful personality.
Ms. Sabharwal placed a strong emphasis on improving one’s online presence and acquiring the many skills needed for successful professions.
